Top Hacker Shows How To Use Hacking Theories To Benefit Society

Top hacker Pablos Holman shows some famous hackers that have developed programming code to do various (and amusing) things, like “auto-friending” people who visit a certain individuals’ myspace site and then automatically reciprocating to all subsequent friends—essentially causing the individual to have over a million friends within a couple of days.

He also shows how hacking can benefit the real world, by showing the protocol for SSD (a security protocol for web-based applications), and then showing how it is similar to a mosquito infected with malaria. And how they came up with an anti-mosquito security system that would be installed around a house perimeter, which identifies whether an object is (or isn’t) a mosquito, and then kills it with a laser—all built using components that are commonly found in current consumer electronics.
