We know dogs are a man’s best friend, but what about puppies that are born on the same day as human newborn?
Chicago-based photographer Ivette Ivens bought a bulldog puppy that was born on the same day as her son Dilan. Ever since the two bubs met, they have been inseparable and Ivens has been documenting the whole process. The bulldog named Farley sleeps, bathes, naps and cuddles with Dilan almost 24/7. "I'm constantly looking at all kinds of animals on the Internet and wishfully thinking all of them could be mine one day," said Ivens. "I saw Farley's birth date and just knew it's meant to be." She went on to say: "I'm pretty sure Dilan thinks they're both the same species,
they are both going through the stage of chewing on everything." Judging by the pictures, the really do seem to be best buds already connected at the hip. When the two are sleeping together, Farley tries not to snore. Cuddling madness at its finest. Ivette believes the two think they are the same species because they are the same height and are going through the phase when they chew on everything. Ivens says Farley licks Dilan's neck when he cries to make the baby laugh.
